 The College of Education for Women at the University of Basrah organized an awareness seminar entitled "How to be a successful teacher".  The symposium, which was organized by the Educational Guidance Unit in cooperation with the Department of Arabic Language, was presented by Dr. Amal Mahdi Jabr and Dr. Hana Abdel Nabi from the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, and the lecturer Wasan Yaqoub from the Department of Arabic Language, in the presence of the fourth stage students.  The symposium touched on the correct educational methods that help the students to perform the practical application in an optimal manner, thus graduating them as teachers who are skilled in performing the educational duty in the future, and to highlight the personality of the application and how to deal with students and the administration

The teacher from the College of Education for women at the University of Basrah, Professor Hussein Abdul Karim Younis, participated in an international scientific research team by publishing scientific research under the title “Survey of Robotics in Education, Taxonomy Applications, and Platforms During COVID-19” in an American magazine. The research included a complete survey of the study of nanorobots in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic in the field of education for the period between 2014/2020, as well as the classification of 98 scientific articles into seven categories and a review of each category and the possibility of applying good results in the era of the Corona pandemic.

 

 

 


Instructor Shatha Ahmed Issa at the College of Education for Women at the University of Basrah received an honorary doctorate from the American International Academy of Higher Education and Training during her participation in the first international scientific conference on the future vision of the world after Covid 19 online.

This certificate comes in view of the efforts made by her in studying, following up and passing the curricula on the methods of teaching history, as well as her participation in conferences, seminars and workshops held by the Academy. During the participation in the conference, the faculty presented a search for the motivation towards e-learning among the faculty members of the history departments in the light of the Corona pandemic. It is noteworthy that the conference came to develop teaching skills in the field of university teaching methods by keeping pace with global developments in the field of diversifying education strategies, especially after resorting to e-learning.

The teacher, Zainab Saeb Abdul-Amir Al-Jamali, from the University of Basrah at the College of Education for Women, was awarded the Initiator Researcher Medal and the Active Medal in the I want scientific platform for Arabic-speaking experts and researchers of the University of Malaya in Malaysia. This platform aims to support and communicate between experts and researchers from all over the world, including those who speak Arabic. This platform contributes to increasing the horizon of communication between all researchers and experts. This honor came to the teacher, Zainab Al Jamali, due to her serious contributions to the platform’s activities and her continuous interaction in the dissemination of scientific activities and research for the benefit of experts and researchers, especially those who speak Arabic.
