  To encourage parents who are not satisfied with studying their daughters the university, the University of Basrah created the College of Education for girls. In 2020-2021, a number of 2005 girls were joined in all stages of college to study free of charge at the College of Education for Girls.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Elite student admission channel

The University of Basrah announces the launch of the application to the Elite student admission channel in universities. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the launch of the application to the elite student admission channel for the academic year 2021/2022. In compliance with the approved regulations, the students included in this channel are the graduates of the preparatory school for the academic years 2021/2020 and 2022/2021 with averages (90%) and above from the graduates of the biological, applied and literary branches, and the application is to the faculties of administration and economics within the departments (Business Administration, Statistics and Public Administration, and industrial management, accounting, economics, finance, and banking sciences) and faculties of law and basic education.
