The College of Law adopts an annual national conference for justice and equality. The 6th was held at 2020.

-The University erected a statue of the Code of Hammurabi, The sixth Babylonian king, as a sign of its interest in justice and peace. This Code consists of 282 laws, with scaled punishments, adjusting "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" (lex talionis) as graded based on social stratification depending on social status and gender, of slave versus free, man versus woman.
-The University policy for justice, peace, equality and political independence was written by the chancellor of the University
(Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hamadi).
