- Basra University is proud of having the policy of equality and equal opportunities for all .
- Number of employee was 6996 (3321 women; 3675 men).
- Total Number of the undergraduate students is 59063 (34101 Girl; 24962 Boy).
- Number of student in financially supported University dormitories in 2020 was 2931 (1779 boy and 1252 girl).
College of Education of women include 2005 girls in all stages, they create social project called “ Satisfaction” for spread equality and help elderly to integrate into society and - educate young people to embrace them and know their need .
