The College of Law at the University of Basrah organized a scientific symposium on the legal protection of women from violence. The symposium included two lectures by Dr. Wafaa Yassin Negm and researcher Samia Abdel Razzaq, during which he explained the topics and causes of juvenile delinquency and juvenile homelessness and presented what is not included in the Iraqi Juvenile Welfare Law No. 76 of 1983 and the extent of the space in the issues of juveniles, delinquents, those exposed to delinquency, vagrants and deviant behaviour. The symposium aims to compare international standards related to juvenile issues, as well as reviewing the most important family and societal problems and obstacles that drive delinquency and juvenile delinquency, and discussing the most important obstacles to infrastructure in the field of juvenile justice in Basrah
