The University of Basrah supports all projects submitted by the faculties regarding treating organic waste that results from laboratory actions and other educational work. Therefore, the faculties of the University of Basrah have provided specialized units for the disposal of organic waste in all faculties.
Medical Waste
Waste treatment devices were developed to get rid of the waste result from the clinical medical education in the College of Medicine, especially the waste in the anatomy and pathology departments.
Animal Waste
The College of Veterinary Medicine uses the organic waste treatment units to treat with the animal waste that have been used in autopsy and laboratory experiments.
