Within the cultural activity of the University of Basrah participated in presenting its scientific products, including books, letters, theses and publications Literary, and patents on Al-Farahidi Street, which takes place every Friday and is frequented by many intellectuals and those interested in the heritage and history of Basrah. The project of the University of Basrah was created by the name of famous historical name AL-FARAHEDI, who Philologist and lexicographer, and leading Arabic grammarian of Basrah and put a thousand books on Al-Farahedi street which opened at weekends freely to read and borrow.
Scientific Visit to UOB
Within the cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Education, and for the purpose of raising the required level for school students and providing them with scientific information, students of Tunis Schools for Boys conducted a visit to the Department of History at the College of Arts. Hosting students
The College of Medicine, University of Basrah, hosted 110 students of Al-Farahidi School. The school’s scientific trip included touring all the corridors of the college, such as the clinical laboratories, the anatomy laboratory, the microbiology laboratory, the central laboratory, the library, the museum, the student club, classrooms, and gardens
