Provide affordable housing for students
University of Basrah providing affordable housing for the student that are living in the hostels.
Accommodation and services :
All rooms in all complexes are equipped with sleeping beds, lockers and mattresses.
Each room is equipped with a refrigerator and air conditioning.
Equipping all complexes with a sufficient number of freezers and electric washing machines, as well as equipping the kitchens with a sufficient number of cooks.
Equipping the bathrooms with hot water continuously. Securing generators. Providing adequate free cooking gas for all complexes.
A cadre of supervisors for the morning, evening and night shifts, with continuous visits to the deans of the faculties and their administrative and scientific assistants.
A cadre of service workers for cleaning, plumbing and removing waste.
A maintenance staff is available day and night to maintain the sanitary and electrical installations.
Gardens and green spaces and the provision of agricultural staff to maintain gardens and plantations.
The presence of members of the university guard to secure and monitor all the complexes. An ambulance is constantly available. Staff for educational supervision.
