Within Marine Sustainability .. University of Basrah organizes a field research trip to the marine coasts

Within the scientific plan of the Marine Sciences Center at University of Basrah for marine sustainability, the lecturer Adi Muhammad Hassan Qasim conducted a field research trip to the marine fish collection centers in Al-Faw District, south of Basrah.

The trip included collecting field data from fishing vessels in order to enhance monitoring and surveillance programs for Iraqi marine fishing and analyzing them to estimate the status of the (Zubaidi) fish stock due to its global economic importance, and to come up with results and recommendations that contribute to enhancing fisheries management.
