University of Basrah Completes Its Courses on Electronic Programs to Manage the Water File in Basrah Governorate
The University of Basrah has completed a series of training courses for staffs of state departments concerned with the water file, which are linked to the management committee of this file in the governorate, on the use of electronic programs related to the control and management of the water file.
These courses included training staffs on the use of electronic programs and linking all these departments to a unified management, control system and a network of communication between them.
These programs, developed at the university, aim to create a monitoring and early warning tool for the water situation in Basrah Governorate.
Dr. Muhammad Nasser Fares stated that the University of Basrah adopted a strategy of working outside the university and providing expertise and advice to serve the community in the governorate in particular and Iraq in general. Among these services, the support of all parties and efforts to advance the water situation in our dear governorate.
