Basrah University Holds a Specialized Training Course on Water Management Programs in the Governorate
A specialized training course was held at Basrah University on the programs used in the work of the central database of the Water Management Committee, after the preparation and design of these advanced programs were completed by experts at the university and in the presence of the concerned departments supporting the water file in Basrah Governorate.
The aim of the course is to qualify and train the cadres of the departments concerned with the water file to shift towards the integrated management of the file by linking these departments to the central database and using predictive programs to advance the water situation of the governorate.
The course included training on the work mechanisms of electronic programs related to sending, storing, organizing and standardizing data on the water situation in the governorate and controlling it by the Water Management Committee in the governorate.
Dr. Muhammad Nasser Fares stressed that this course is a link in a series of training courses, and that our university was and still provides all different sectors with the expertise, information and capabilities it possesses in order to advance the situation of our dear governorate. This work falls within the university's orientation to serve the community and the governorate.
